Zygor's is shiznit!!
Back into the swing of things. Finally got my ass back into WoW, working on leveling, got my main up to 85 (finally), and now working on some alts. Things have been pretty quiet in the guild considering that there are only 2 other active members. Found a handy tool for working through questing and leveling. Decided to sort of cheat, and got myself hooked up with Zygor's Guide. This is some pimp shit, and made it so easy. They have a smart injection system, so no matter what quests you've already completed, or what level you are, it'll pick up where you are, and help you speed through things. I highly recommend that you pick this up!!!

NEOBUX ROCKS!
Starting a new theme around these parts. Got a new online gig going on that centers around making some extra cash to pay for a family vacation this summer and to start a college fund for my 4yr old little girl.
Been working with a new site called Neobux. So far it's taken little time and little effort, but the idea of it is to be able to get some referrals and start adding the amount I'm making. Everything in life starts as a trickle and ends in a downpour. And I'm definitely working towards the downpour.
I urge everyone to check this site out, I've done the research, it's not a scam, it's legit. Help me, help yourself, and let's all enjoy this in the long run.

When it's all fun and games....
Someone once told me that work should be something that you can make fun. It helps the time pass and it makes things just seem easier and stress free. Wow, were they ever full of shit.
Lately, work has been anything but stress free. I literally loathe getting up in the morning to go to work. Used to be that I had absolutely no issue with getting up, having breakfast and getting to work on time. Those days are long gone. Now it's a struggle just to drag my ass from bed in time and generally I'm 10 - 15 mins late everyday.
May make someone wonder, what happened to change it all? the owners of the business changed it all.
Don't get me wrong, I understand that every business needs structure. I know that there are rules to follow. That's not my issue at all. Quite frankly my issue is this, I HATE having someone breathing down my neck every 30 seconds to watch what I'm doing while I work. I'm 36 yrs old, you ask me to do something, I do it. I don't need someone to hold my hand, coddle me or make me feel like I need a babysitter. I'm quite capable of doing any task laid out before me. But lately, all I have is someone sitting there, over my shoulder, scrutinizing my every move, every decision and my every thought. It's a real piss off.
And then there's the promises, "Oh don't worry, we'll give you Mon-Fri 9-5" (that one was 2 months ago) or my personal favorite, "We discussed the idea of a raise and deemed it unnecessary" or better yet "No one on this planet is worth more than minimum wage". I'm sorry, last time I checked, minimum wage does not allow anyone to get anywhere in the world other than deeper into debt. That one was from the crotchety old German who draws a nice hefty salary to do nothing but sit on his ass and breath down my neck the entire time I'm at work.
I've already looked into other companies that provide auto-detailing services, pay starts at $13.50/hour and minimum 10% commission for every car through. Literally I'm tired of being taken advantage of. Before anyone jumps in and asks why don't I go somewhere else to do it, I've already looked into it.
Just had to get that off my chest.

Guild GM.....only in essence....
I have to say that over the last few years playing WoW that the hardest thing I have ever done in the game is being a Guildmaster. I'm currently the GM of one of the oldest existing guilds on the Llane server, Requiem of Decay. That title has changed hands to me and from me more then a few times, but it would seem that lately, because of my lack of presence in game, that I'm only the GM in title.
The great thing about it all is this, and the main reason why the guild runs so smooth, my elected officers. These guys are fantastic at putting out the fires that start amidst the guild members, with other guilds and what not. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. I know that if I left the game for 3 months time and came back, that the guild would still be trucking along, doing what we do. It really is a great thing to see.
RoD is basically like a big family, we have our internal squabbles, but all in all, it's always put aside in the long run. Everyone gets along great, we have fun with the game and really in the end that's what it's all about.
Really all I want to say is this, Thank You! Thanks to all of you in the guild that make it what it is, a family. Keep up the great work. :)

World of Warcraft Interface Changes.....
Looks like the good folks at Blizzard are going to do it again. By the looks of things with the upcoming 3.2 Call of the Crusade patch there are going to be some good changes to UI and gear information. That coupled with the new raid instance, tier 9 gear sets and new pvp battleground it sounds like the new patch will have something for everyone.

The Curse Client and You...
Get it....that's all I have say. The Curse game client is by far the best way to keep your mods for World of Warcraft fully up to date, and cleanly installed. It's a fantastic way to make sure that you always have the most current version of your favorite mods to enhance your gaming experience in WoW.
I've been using this client myself for quite some time and I live by it. It's easy to setup, easy to maintain and requires little work on the part of the user. There are 2 flavors of the client to use, the paid subscription version, which auto updates all your mods on it's own, and the unpaid version which allows the user to update the mods individually as needed. Either way it works great.
I highly recommend this software to handle all of your World of Warcraft mods. Ease of use just means more game time in the long run.

New class guides, profession guides and antics OH MY....
So, I figure that not only will I use this as a place to vent, but to also post some interesting guides and antics for World of Warcraft. Amongst these are going to be some leveling ideas and tips, class guides and profession guides. I know that there's a lot of WoW players, and new people starting everyday. So with that in mind, I want to lend a hand, help folks out and hopefully get some good responses back in return.

Life, the Universe and World of Warcraft....
So here I sit and ponder, I've been playing WoW now for almost 6yrs, all through alpha and beta. I know, most of you think that it's a tad much. Believe me, you're preaching to the choir... :).
Of late though, I've been spending more time out and about with my girlfriend and her darling 3yr old little girl. I forgot how much I missed the social aspect of enjoying life. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to relax and play a game, but it seems like I've been living in the game and not appreciating what I have right in front of me. That and most of the time I feel like when I log into that infernal game I'm babysitting 200 grown children.....*shudder*
Any who, onto my point, which is this, WoW is just a game, and my one rule above all with this is that real world events and life are more important then a game. I guess what I'm really saying is that I finally decided that I'm done hiding in a virtual world and enjoy what I have in the real world. This doesn't mean that I'm going to stop playing World of Warcraft, just means that I'm going to pay more attention to everything and everyone that is physically around me.

Fast Gold in World of Warcraft......not bloody likely
Gold....the one thing that makes the WoW gaming world tick. Everyone wants it, and everyone wants to make it fast. There is no definitive way to make gold in WoW fast, but there are some very consistent and tried and true methods to make gold. The best option is by using the auction house, buy low and sell high. If done right you can amass quite a bit of gold in a short amount of time.

The World of Warcraft Grind.... Got My Mind On My Money and My Money On My Mind..
Grinding mobs.... *shudder*, this way of making gold in WoW generally makes most people cringe. But the honest truth is that other then obtaining a gathering profession, grinding mobs is one of the most effective, albeit boring ways to make money in the game. The one thing about grinding mobs in World of Warcraft is that it's steady, consistent and if you're working on leveling a character, it helps twofold. You gain money in the game and experience from killing the mobs.
